Alabama's best and brightest rising high school seniors have been on Samford University's campus for the past two weeks attending the Alabama Governor's School.
This is the 25th session for the AGS, which was created in 1987.
This year 82 students are attending the two week honors program. These students come with great skills in academic ability, leadership, creativity, and community service. Two teacher recommendations and a nomination from the student's principal is required in the application process.
